5 Star Quality Pre-K Program

I am still in SHOCK!  

Our pre-k program is one of the two programs in CCSD to receive a 5 star rating.  We went through intense coaching and training on ECERS 3 and CLASS, to get here.  

I have to give a big thank you to my team and my coaches, without them this would not be possible. 

Christmas Ornaments

This year we made ornaments for our parents for Christmas. 

Directions

1.  Purchase empty orniments from local craft store 

2.  Take head shots of each child

3.  Print head shots on transparency paper (I found mine on Amazon)

4.  Cut each picture out in a circle 

5.  Roll pictures up and place in ornimnet 

6.  Children can fill their orniment with fake snow and glitter

7.  With sharpie write the year on the top of the ornament

8.  Tie top with a ribbon

I love having time to finally draw!  It is so relaxing:)  Hopefully I will be able to finish up some of the projects that I started over the summer.

Elf Fun

I love, love, love Elf on the Shelf!  

Each year I introduce our Elf two weeks before break.

This year being in pre-k, was so much fun.  My little ones loved the magic of the elf.  They where so fun and loved looking for him each day.  I am not sure if it made them behave better or if they where more on the wild side.
