I can't wait to dive into this unit and teach it!  I have always had such a hard time teaching my students about the facts surrounding Thanksgiving.  There are always so many cute things related to turkeys, just not a lot about the cold hard facts on a 1st grade level.  However, I think this year it is going to be a breeze!

My kiddo's loved learning about germs this year!  

I even enjoyed teaching about them (not one of my favorite subjects)!  Tomorrow we will check out our potatoes and see how the different surfaces effected each potato.  I'll try to remember pictures;)

Calendar

So I have been working hard on creating an organized work space for myself at school.  It seems that no matter how hard I try I start out organized and turn into a train wreak.  One of the things I am always looking for is a calendar.  So I decided instead of buying one I would create one to match my classroom theme, then I printed them on our large format printer.  Check it out!  I only have up to October done as of today.  I am hoping with the teen school shoping and the pre-teen in her own world, to finish the rest today.  But for now enjoy for free at my TPT store;)
