Dr. Seuss Clipart

I love having time to finally draw!  It is so relaxing:)  Hopefully I will be able to finish up some of the projects that I started over the summer.

But for now here are my latest Dr. Seuss additions.  Just click on the image to grabe your sets.

Elf Fun

I love, love, love Elf on the Shelf!

Each year I introduce our Elf two weeks before break.
This year being in pre-k, was so much fun.  My little ones loved the magic of the elf.  They where so fun and loved looking for him each day.  I am not sure if it made them behave better or if they where more on the wild side.

Christmas Fun

Fine Motor

In our fine motor center, I placed these toilet paper rolls covered with sparkly paper.
The kiddos sorted the bells by color.

Gifts for Parents

For our parents this year we took pictures in our best dressed, glued them on snowflakes, creating great keepsake ornaments.

Reindeer Food

I love giving the kiddo's Reindeer Food for Christmas, it is one of my favorite memories with my own kids.

Tissue Paper Orniments

I purchased these tissue paper squares at Hobby Lobby and cut the ornaments out on my Silhouette.

The kiddo's loved decorating their ornaments for our classroom tree.

Gingerbread Man

My kiddo's loved the Gingerbread Man!

Our vocabulary words for the week where: wink, ginger, dough, batter and delicious!

To help with the difference between dough and batter, we made gingerbread play dough in class.  The kids loved making it and helping count out the number of scoops for each ingredient.

We labeled the parts of a gingerbread man and at the end of the week we retold the story using picture prompts.

My kids love to decorate things, so I gave them tons of art supplies and a gingerbread man made of paper and let them go to town!

For our large motor activity we changed the refrain of the gingerbread man!

We stomped, jumped, hopped, skipped and walked!

December "Leader in Me"

Our December "Leader in Me" door was a big hit.  This month instead of pre-printing pictures of the kids doing each habit, I told them what I would be looking for.  As we saw them being leaders, we took pictures for the door.  The kids loved it and I feel that it made a bigger impact of what the habits are.   I can not wait to start my January door.
