Christopher Columbus

Our book this week was "In 1492".

Christopher Columbus anchor chart.

We created a ship in a bottle and then made a bubble map for our reading journals.  I got the idea for a ship in the bottle from Teach-A-Roo.  Hop on over and see her post!

Ship In a Bottle

The Beach Club

I have made it through my first week of teaching.  It feels good to have my own group of kiddos.  They are such an amazing bunch and are really picking things up quickly.

I can't wait to see what next week brings.

Here are pictures of my finished classroom.

This board is to hold all my anchor charts throughout the year.

Halloween

Fall is in the air and Halloween is around the corner and I have a job assignment! Woot woo!!!  I found out Friday that I will be teaching 1st grade again.  I can't wait, I will have a class full of kiddo's a week from Monday.  I finally fill like I have a home and a solid direction in life.
I was finally motivated to finish up my Halloween clip art, so check it out.  There is still time to take advantage of my Birthday Sale!

Button's Up

I was asked this week to make a button to go along with my Pete the Cat clipart.  So I thought that I would share with anyone who was interested!

It's My Birthday!

Holly Cow!  I can't believe it is that time of year again!  This is the first time in I believe my whole life that I feel like I am going to have a stress free day!  I am going to spend the day pampering myself and doing things I never seem to have time for.  One of the biggest things I have wanted to do since I started blogging and selling on TPT was to throw a birthday sale, so head on over to my TPT store and shop away!
